Mike McPuff from Colorado came to York to create a mural on the east side of North Printing & Office Supply, while including YHS students. The artwork was completed in two days and the community is excited to have a fun and colorful piece added to their downtown.
Help the Arts! Be a part of one of the first projects in the newly developed City of York Creative Arts District. We are still accepting donations for the downtown mural, so please consider a donation today! Checks can be made payable to the City of York with Mural Project in the memo line. All donations of $100 or more will have your name listed as a donor on the wall. You can drop checks off to North Printing & Office Supply or to the City Offices. More information about donating can be found HERE.
More about Mike Born in 1992, I grew up around tons of cartoons and colorful imagery. Growing up, I was the kid always drawing eyeballs in my notebook, and making little comic books to sell or trade with my friends. In my teenage years I discovered Skateboarding, which in turn introduced me to Rock and Hip Hop culture. I started making a ton of art starting in 2013. In 2017 I quit my job at a cell phone store, and decided to pursue my art full time. Since then I have done over 35 murals, and opened up a tattoo studio in Oldtown Fort Collins, Colorado.
